About

What is this website about?

The JobJoy Blog is about helping you understand the value of your personal story for finding and developing your right work, based on your natural talents and motivations. Everyone has talents and passion, everyone!

Here are a few topics explored on this website:

• Personal stories of individuals who have made successful transitions to their right work and better jobfits, based on their natural talents and motivations.

• Clear explanations of jobfit based on natural talents and motivations and how that increases passion, joy and success in your life.

• How a job misfit can foster serious job dissatisfaction or career pain, and undermine well-being.

• How the ‘golden handcuffs’ and other dilemmas keep us trapped in jobmisfits, e.g. a job might pay well and provide a ‘goods’ lifestyle but if it’s also a job misfit, it does not foster a good life.

• Identifying opportunities for jobfit through practical and inspiring advice.

• Navigating the new world of work to discover and develop good jobfits.

• Overcoming negative beliefs, doubts, fears, and anxieties related to career transition.

• Expanding your consciousness about work and its meaning for our lives, and manifesting opportunities for optimizing our joy and passion through work.

• Creating vision for your life, and learning practical tools for building those visions into reality.

• Removing roadblocks and obstacles to successful transition.

• Review of resources that will help you find your right work and live out of your talents and motivations to create what really matters to you.

We are all a work in progress. I’m sharing with you what I know works, based on my story and the stories of thousands of clients. I hope you find something useful here for your personal journey towards job joy.

  1. I had to read your post twice to get the full impact of it. I appreciate reading what you have to say. It’s unfortunate that more people do not comprehend the benefits of coaching. Keep up the good work.
